用着putty总有些不爽,每次都要手动输入用户名,密码,并且没有复制粘贴功能,也没有右键功能!很长的字符串本可以ctrl+c +v很方便解决的事,非要你一个字符一个字符打出来才行.
很早以前装的SSH Secure Shell Client,今天又开启用了下,感觉我需要的这些功能全部具备,可以保存用户名,至于密码直接ctrl+c +v就可以了,很方便!
在执行命令时如果路径很长,ctrl+c +v也行,并且支持鼠标右键功能,大大节省了时间,提高了服务器的操作效率!我在想为什么都在用PUTTY 那些主机商也推荐putty呢?难道就是因为putty免费? 当然ssh secure sheel client有商业版本与non-commercial之分,但non-commercial就足够我们用了!

1，你使用的是那个发行版的linux？有无GUI？一般有那些版本可供选择？
2，作为服务器运行的linux需要安装类似于WIN下的防火墙，杀毒软件什么的么？

@少爷, 我现在的linux版本是CentOS 5.3 ,只有命令行!linux 版本很多…..一搜一大堆^_^
linux下一般不需要装杀毒软件 之类吧

@久酷，呵呵，看来你putty用得很生啊。 putty的功能还是很强大的，建议google下柴锋的putty中文教程。:mrgreen:
保存用户名密码真的有必要么？其实我倒认为把服务器的账号密码存在机器里是个不安全的习惯，最好能用公钥认证来做。
除了这个，你说的那些功能putty还真有。比如说复制和粘贴，看配置对话框（缺省就会首先弹出的），window->selection中就能配置。右键菜单也是在这里配置，选第一项windows模式就有右键菜单用了。我自己用的好像是缺省的配置吧，鼠标拖动即选择并复制，右键粘贴（相比起来，中键点起来要累些），中键可以扩展选择的范围。
其实putty最大的问题是不支持单窗口多标签，主站上用户的呼声很大，但似乎近期不会解决。
所以现在我在用xshell，家庭/学校使用是免费的。如果严格遵守软件的协议，在公司是不能用的，可以用Poderosa来代替，但它很久没有更新了。还有一个PuttyTabs可以用来管理保存的putty会话和多个窗口，是免费的。

至于要功能强大，推荐securecrt吧，很好用。

其实putty是可以复制粘贴的，复制的话是选中字符后左键（默认是左键），如果你右键是粘贴
