2009年8月4日早上起床，打开电脑thunderbird里收到邮件提示要我twitter 帐号被攻击,要我重置密码,结果我的twitter帐号被锁定 .

随后近六七个小时里一直锁定状态,然后我尝试其他解决办法,先发了封邮件到support@twitter.com ，然后系统自动给我回复了邮件，邮件内容如下：

Hi Jiucool,

Having log in problems? Try logging in with your email address and password if the user name/password isn’t working. If that still doesn’t work, or if you lost your password, try sending yourself a password reminder by entering the email address or user name you signed up with here:
http://twitter.com/account/resend_password

If you get locked out because of too many failed log in attempts, you’ll have to try again in an hour.
If you do not receive the password reset email for any reason, please reply to this email and include:
* your user name
* the email address associated with your Twitter account
* any other important information related to password loss or email inaccessibility

Please ensure that Twitter mail isn’t landing in your bulk mail, spam, or other email filters. Check out our password trouble shooting page, here:

Once you’re able to log in successfully, remember that you can always reset your password in your account settings page:
http://twitter.com/account/password

Choosing a strong password, ideally with letters, numbers, and symbols, is important. Keep your Twitter account secure by choosing strong passwords that no one would guess. Be wary when entering your Twitter user name and password into 3rd party applications– only enter your password if you really trust a site. If you notice odd behavior on your account, change your password immediately as a first precaution, especially if you use 3rd party applications.

然后又给回复了该邮件，到目前发稿前没收到回复。看上面这封邮件，上面显示假如你的帐号locked out ,至少一个小时之后才可以试第二次。所以到现在整整一天的时候到晚上我才成功重置了密码。

经验显示，如果你的帐号被locked out ,没关系，你慢慢等吧，每隔一个小时试一次找回密码功能，直到成功为止。幸运的话一两个小时此问题即可解决，如果不幸，我也不知要多长时间哈……

PS.貌似suspend 比locked out 要严重得多。
